Beds without headboard

At Auping, we make every bed to order. This allows you to make many personal choices and put together your bed entirely as you wish.

You start by deciding which bed you like. With Auping, you can choose from five different beds that you can put together in different materials and colors. Choose the design that you like and fits your bedroom. Do you like a minimalist lifestyle? Then maybe our Original bed is for you. You can put together this bed with one of three matching headboards, or choose an Original bed without a headboard.

For bedrooms in the Scandinavian style, the Noa bed, the newest Auping bed, is suitable. The wooden frame is available in 6 colors, as are the headboards. And do you think sustainability is important? Our Essential bed is the world's first fully recyclable bed, both the frame and headboard are recyclable.

The next step is to choose the right size bed. How wide your bed should be depends mainly on whether you sleep on the bed alone or as a couple and what you like. Do you like to have all the space at night or do you prefer to sleep snugly together? Auping offers beds from 90 cm to 200 cm wide.

Which length of bed is right depends on how tall you and/or your bed partner are. If you are taller than 180 cm, the standard length of a bed (200 cm) is often not long enough. We recommend that you choose a bed that is at least 20 to 30 cm longer than the tallest person who will soon be sleeping on the bed. So if you are tall, it is nice that all Auping beds can be made in an extra long length of 210 or even 220 cm.

Finally, you can complete an Auping bed with extras such as extra high legs, matching bedside tables and, of course, a headboard. Beds without a headboard make your bedroom look more spacious. Besides the fact that a headboard has a number of practical advantages, choosing a bed with or without a headboard is primarily a matter of taste.
