Senior beds

An electrically adjustable bed or electrically adjustable box spring from Auping is equipped with an electric bed base. This is easy to operate via the Auping Connect App. You can choose from three different electrically adjustable bed bases for a senior bed. The bed base with one motor has a back section that is electrically adjustable. The foot section can be adjusted manually. This allows you to sit nice and upright in bed and give your legs extra support. 

The Smart base 2M has two motors with which the foot section and back section can be electrically adjusted. The Smart base 3M is electrically adjustable at the back, foot end and head end. The Smart base 2M and 3M also feature a knee bend in the seating area, which give the lower back extra support as you sit on the bed or box spring.

A senior bed with electrically adjustable bed base gives you great comfort and all the options you need to adjust the bed. This way, the body gets support where it is needed and can rest extra well at night. Also, an electrically adjustable bed base makes it easier to get up from a lying position by raising the back section. This makes it easier to get into a sitting position and then get out of bed.

All Auping beds are made to order. That means you can make many personal choices. Not only do you determine the color of the frame, the size of the bed and the mattress, you can also determine the step-in height of a number of Auping beds. For seniors, it can be nice to choose a bed with an extra high entry level. This makes it easier to get into bed or get out of bed at night and in the morning.

Every Auping bed and every Auping box spring can be optionally equipped with an electrically adjustable bed base. That means you can turn any size bed or box spring into a senior bed that you can electrically adjust. Are you looking for a single bed for seniors? The most common size is a 90x200 bed, but you can also choose an extra wide single bed or extra long single bed.

How high is a senior bed?

With a senior bed, the step height is important. The height of a senior bed is often higher than a standard bed, so you can get in and out of the bed more easily. A senior bed is ideally +/- 48 cm high. The Original bed, Auronde bed, Essential bed and Noa bed can be ordered with an extra high entry height.
