Software problems
The app has been deleted
When the app is deleted from the phone, but the Auping Connect module is still connected to the Wi-Fi network in the house, it will no longer be found in a new installation.
There are 2 options:
1. Another phone is connected to the Auping Connect module. The code can be found on this phone under settings (icon in the upper right corner), and then via the ‘Share’ menu. That’s where the code is shown. Enter this code into the other phone.
2. If only one phone was installed for the Auping Connect module, then the module must be reset and the installation process must be repeated. To reset, hold down the black reset button on the connection side of the module for 3 seconds.
Software update problems
If the installation is stuck while the firmware is being updated, try restarting the app and then performing the update again.
If this does not work, reset the Auping Connect module to factory settings:
- Disconnect the power cord from the module.
- Hold down the reset button while plugging the power cord back into the module.
- Hold down the reset button for 10 seconds after the power cord has been plugged back into the module.
- Release the reset button
Then restart the update procedure via the app.
Resetting factory settings
You can reset the Auping Connect module to factory settings by tapping:
1. Disconnect the power cord from the module.
2. Hold down the reset button while plugging the power cord back into the module.
3. Hold down the reset button for 10 seconds after the power cord has been plugged back into the module.
