Problems with the Auping Connect app
Back to the Auping Smart base support overview
Adjustment problems
My bed does not go to my set favourite position (memory mode)
Using the memory function, the bed adjusts from a flat position by means of a stored movement. Therefore, ensure that the bed is flat when you record the memory mode and use the memory mode. If this is not the case, the bed will not move to the desired position. You can reset the memory mode via Settings/Reset saved position.

Unfortunately, the Auping Connect app does not work in Apple’s ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode.
Do you have Android? The sound of the Auping Connect app can be set by setting the ring tone volume (‘Call’, not ‘Media’ or ‘Alarm’). The ringtone volume must not be set to zero.

Snore detection problems
My bed rises up when I turn on the anti-snore mode
This is normal. The snore detection starts by raising the bed a little. This will help you breathe more freely.
Do not put it back. Then the function will no longer work properly.
Do you not want the back part to rise when the anti-snoring function is activated? Then try the "nudgte" setting instead of "lift".
1. Go to the snore detection settings (via the snore icon in the upper right corner).
2. Select ‘nudge’ in the ‘anti-snore mode’.
3. The selected function is blue.
The snore detection is not responding
1. Make sure you tapped start.
2. Check if any sound is being measured; there is a sound icon with a dB value below it displayed in the middle of the screen. If this is set to 0, no measurements will be taken. Close the app and restart it. If this does not work, restart the phone.
3. Then check whether snoring is being measured. In the middle of the screen, you can see how many snoring have been measured. By pressing a bar you can see how many snoring has been measured. If this number is 0 or very low, the sensitivity is set too low.
4. Go to the snore detection settings (via the snore icon in the upper right corner) and check that the sensitivity of the snore detection is set correctly. The default setting is medium, but this is not sensitive enough for some devices. Try to turn it to high.
5. Go to the snore detection settings (via the snore icon in the upper right corner) and check that the timer is turned on. Use the slider to set the time at which the snore detection should begin. Most users fall asleep in about 20 minutes. When you start the snore detection you will see a timer on the screen that indicates how many minutes are left until the snore detection starts.
The snore detection responds too quickly
1. Go to the snore detection settings (via the snore icon in the upper right corner).
2. Check that the sensitivity of the snore detection is set correctly. The default setting is medium, but this is not sensitive enough for some devices. Try to turn it to high.
The wrong bed is responding
Check that the correct half of the bed is selected at the bottom of the snore detection screen. The pillow icon in the app will indicate which half of the bed is left or right.
The snore detection responds to other sounds
Your privacy is very important to us, so the app only measures the sound volume (dB) and no frequencies or sounds.
This means that other sounds may also activate the anti-snore mode.
1. Don’t start the snore detection until you go to sleep.
2. Prevent the anti-snore mode from responding to sounds before you fall asleep by using the timer. Most users fall asleep in about 20 minutes.
3. Decrease the sensitivity of the snore detection; go to the snore detection settings (via the snore icon in the upper right corner) and check that the sensitivity of the snore detection is set correctly. The default setting is medium, but with some devices it is too sensitive. Then try the 'low' setting.
4. Make sure that the phone is near your head and that your phone’s microphone is facing your head.
