Auping Evolve matras wint Duitse Duurzaamheid Award

Product of the year 2021

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded the title Product of the Year 2021 for our Auping Evolve mattress at the presentation of the German Sustainability Awards 2021. We convinced the jury with our fully circular mattress and Evolve is praised by them as the example of circular thinking and acting.

The German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ), news channel ntv and DUP Unternehmer-Magazin (German entrepreneurial platform for digitization and sustainability) have awarded the German Sustainability Award 2021 (Deutschen Award für Nachhaltigkeit) for the first time, choosing our Auping Evolve mattress as the winner.

Projects from a wide range of industries were honoured. The megatrend of sustainability presents companies with entirely new challenges – and the transformation has long since begun. The award winners show that they operate successfully and sustainably. Auping is one of the winners in the “Household/Living” category and was conferred the title “Product of the Year 2021” for its fully circular Auping Evolve mattress.

With the award, the initiators aim to make visible and recognize innovative, sustainable, and future-oriented projects that set an example for environmental and climate protection. The patroness of this year's ceremony is Brigitte Zypries, former federal minister.

A total of 202 companies and their projects in 24 categories were nominated and assessed on various sustainability aspects. The top jury, made up of business, science and media, chaired by Yvonne Zwick of B.A.U.M. e.V (Federal German Working Group for Environmentally-Conscious Management), ultimately awarded 49 companies and organizations for their sustainability projects.
